50% off: Toasteé, Westfield White City

Toasteé is a new Filipino-inspired French toast and ube bar from the team behind Panadera. For its launch week, you get 50% off the whole bill until 7 November. No booking is needed: show the offer page on your phone at the till when you order. It can’t be combined with other offers.

The menu has three signature French toasts (ube jam, matcha ganache, and Milo cookies and cream), a classic butter and maple version, ube drinks such as an ube latte and ube horchata, and house-made ice cream including pandan coconut and miso caramel. You’ll find it at Unit 1018B, Westfield London, near Wood Lane and White City stations.

25% off: NOTTO pasta bars

Phil Howard’s fresh pasta bars are offering 25% off the total bill, food and drink, from the à la carte menu, every day from 2pm to 5pm and from 8pm, until 30 November. To claim it, book through NOTTO’s online booking page and write “Hot Dinners” in the special requests box. It isn’t valid on set menus.

  • Broadgate: 1 Broadgate, EC2M 2QS
  • Covent Garden: 4 Henrietta Street, WC2E 8PS
  • Piccadilly: 198 Piccadilly, W1J 9EZ

The 2pm to 5pm window makes it a good late lunch, and the 8pm slot works well after a show in Covent Garden.

Bottomless dhal: Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea

At Cinnamon Kitchen in the arches at Battersea Power Station, order two courses each from the lunch or dinner à la carte menu and the dhal and naan are unlimited. The offer runs from 22 October to 21 November. Book in advance online and add “Hot Dinners” in the special requests. With Glide, the Battersea ice rink, open from 6 November, it’s an easy dinner after a skate.

Half-price tasting menu: SOLA, Notting Hill

SOLA, now at 115a Westbourne Grove, is offering its 7-course tasting menu for £97 instead of £194 from 6 November to 19 December, Wednesday to Saturday, lunch and dinner. Drinks and service aren’t discounted. Book through the restaurant and enter SOLASOFT50 in the special requests box. Walk-ins can quote the code too, but seats are limited.

Soft launches: openings worth watching

New restaurants often open with discounts for the first week or two, usually through mailing lists and membership schemes rather than publicly. This month:

  • Bar Douro Soho opens at 10 Greek Street on 4 November, with 50% off food until 18 November for members of The Nudge (rib-eye excluded). See our Bar Douro Soho guide
  • Edmondo, Big Mamma’s new City restaurant, ran members’ soft-launch nights and opens officially on 6 November. See Edmondo opens at Bank

The tip: sign up to the mailing list or Instagram of any restaurant you’re excited about before it opens. That’s usually where launch offers appear first. See new restaurants in London this November for what’s coming.

More ways to eat out for less

  • Black Friday on 27 November brings more restaurant offers. See our Black Friday 2026 guide
  • Lunch menus at many smart restaurants cost far less than dinner for similar food
  • Off-peak times, like NOTTO’s afternoon window, often carry the best offers

How to make a restaurant deal actually save you money

A 50% discount is only a good deal if you were going to eat there anyway. A few habits help:

  • Read the small print first. Most offers here exclude drinks, service or certain dishes, and some only apply to the à la carte menu
  • Book the right slot. Off-peak offers like NOTTO’s only work at the stated times, and the restaurant can refuse the discount outside them
  • Say the code when you book, not when you pay. Where a code goes in the special requests box, adding it later usually doesn’t work
  • Service charge is on the full price at some restaurants, so check the bill
  • Screenshots help. Keep the offer page open on your phone in case the staff haven’t been briefed

Where the deals are on a map

The offers spread across London, so it’s worth grouping them with other plans. Toasteé sits inside Westfield London at White City, good for a shopping day. NOTTO’s three sites are in the City (Broadgate, by Liverpool Street), Covent Garden and Piccadilly. Cinnamon Kitchen is in the railway arches at Battersea Power Station, reached by the Northern line to Battersea Power Station or the riverboat. SOLA is on Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill, a short walk from Notting Hill Gate and Bayswater stations. Bar Douro is on Greek Street in Soho, near Tottenham Court Road.
