50% off food at Dishoom Borough, 12 to 20 October

The new Dishoom in the Hop Exchange, opposite Borough Market, takes half off all food during its soft launch. Bookings are full, so walk in. Details here.

£6 film festival tickets if you are 25 or under

The BFI’s 25 and Under scheme gets you London Film Festival tickets for £6. The festival runs until 18 October. How to go.

Free outdoor art in Regent’s Park, until 1 November

Frieze Sculpture puts eleven large works around the south-east of Regent’s Park, with no ticket needed. More here.

Free fireworks in Bloomsbury, 5 November

Coram’s Fields holds a free display on Bonfire Night, with entry on a first come, first served basis. Adults must come with a child. All the fireworks dates.

Free entry to Winter Wonderland, if you book an off-peak slot

From 19 November, off-peak entry slots at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland are free but must be booked. Entry is also free if you spend more than £25 in one online order. Full guide.

Kids go free at the London Transport Museum

Under-18s get in free with a paying adult, which makes it a cheaper option for half-term week.
