World Darts Championship 2026/27 at Ally Pally: dates, tickets and the new Great Hall final

The World Darts Championship is back at Alexandra Palace from Friday 11 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, with a break from 24 to 27 December. For the first time, the final will be in the Great Hall.
What’s different this year
- The final moves to the Great Hall, which holds more than 5,200 people, up from about 3,200
- 128 players start, and the first round begins four days earlier than last time
- A record 180,000 tickets, sold for the first time through a ballot
Luke Littler, 19, is the defending champion and is going for a third title in a row.
Can you still get tickets?
The ballot ran in September and has closed. Successful applicants were told between 21 and 25 September. Ally Pally hasn’t said whether any tickets will go on general sale. If you need to sell or buy a resale ticket, the only official route is See Tickets’ Fan-to-Fan platform. Avoid other resale sites, as tickets bought there may not get you in.
Getting there
Alexandra Palace station is a short uphill walk away. Wood Green on the Piccadilly line is the other option, with the W3 bus to the top. Evening sessions open at 7pm.
Alexandra Palace also hosts the fireworks and drone festival on 7 and 8 November.
