Patches inside Greater London and a short drive out, with this year’s dates and what to sort out before you go.
Pumpkin picking near London in 2026: the patches worth the trip

Most pumpkin patches around London are open now and carry on until Halloween weekend. The popular ones sell out on Saturdays, so book before you set off. These are the closest to the city. We’ve only given dates where both guides we checked agree; where they don’t, we say so.
In London or right on the edge
Hobbledown Heath, Hounslow
Staines Road, TW14 0HH. One of the few patches inside Greater London, near Heathrow. Open on selected dates until 1 November, with evening Pumpkin Nights too. There’s a second Hobbledown in Epsom with the same dates.
Beck Evans Farm, Sidcup
Water Lane, DA14 5ET, on the London and Kent border. Open on selected dates through October. The two guides we checked list slightly different start and end dates, so look at the farm’s booking page before you go.
Stanhill Farm, Dartford
Birchwood Road, DA2 7HD, on the edge of Swanley. Check the farm’s site for what’s in season before you drive over.

A short drive out
Garsons, Esher
Winterdown Road, KT10 8LS, just south-west of Greater London. Open through October. You need to book a pass online in advance.
Priory Farm, Redhill
Sandy Lane, South Nutfield, RH1 4EJ. The pumpkin field is open through October, and booking ahead is a good idea.
Secretts, Milford
Hurst Farm, Chapel Lane, Milford, GU8 5HU. Open from 17 to 30 October only, and tickets have to be bought online before you go. You pay for the pumpkins you pick on top.
Crockford Bridge Farm, Weybridge
New Haw Road, KT15 2BU. Londonist lists pick-your-own here until 18 October, earlier than most, so go sooner rather than later.
Tulleys Farm, near Crawley
Turners Hill Road, RH10 4PE. The biggest of the lot: a full Pumpkin Festival with day and evening sessions until 1 November. October weekends sell out weeks ahead.
Cammas Hall Farm, near Bishop’s Stortford
Hatfield Broad Oak, CM22 7JT. Pick-your-own pumpkins all through October.
Before you go
- Book for weekends. Saturday slots go first.
- At most farms you pay for your pumpkins on top of the entry ticket.
- Most of these are easiest to reach by car.
- Wear boots. Fields get muddy, and wet weather can close pick-your-own for the day.
Staying in town? Kew’s Halloween trail and the free museums are good half-term alternatives.
