Winter Wonderland 2026: opening dates, tickets and how to get in free

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland opens on Thursday 19 November 2026 and runs until Sunday 3 January 2027. Entry can be free if you pick the right time slot, but you have to book either way.

Opening dates and hours

It’s open every day except Christmas Day. Most days it runs from 10am to 10pm, with last entry at 9.30pm. A few weekdays open later, at 11am, 12pm or, on 1 December, 2pm, so check the calendar before you plan a morning visit. The last day, 3 January, is a family fun day.

How much are Winter Wonderland tickets?

• Off-peak: free, but you still need to book a timed slot
• Standard: £5.50
• Peak: £8.25, mostly evenings and weekends

Booking fees are now included in the price shown. Your ticket gives you a one-hour window to arrive, and once you’re in you can stay as long as you like. Rides, the ice rink and shows are paid separately.

How to get in free

Two ways. Book an off-peak slot, which is always free. Or spend £25 or more in one online order on rides, attractions or meal deals, and your entry is free whatever the time. Booking rides ahead is also cheaper than paying on the day, with savings of up to 25%.

What’s there

The usual big draws are back: the giant observation wheel, rollercoasters, an ice rink, Santa Land for young children, Bar Ice, and a Christmas market with more than 60 stalls. You can now also move your booking to another date in the season if your plans change.

Tips for a calmer visit

• Weekday daytime slots are quietest and usually off-peak
• Book rides at the same time as entry if you want the £25 free entry deal
• Hyde Park Corner and Marble Arch are the nearest stations, with Knightsbridge and Lancaster Gate close too
• It gets cold after dark, so the ice rink is best before sunset at around 4pm
